Chaplain Workshop Offered 'The USC administration, along with the Campus Chaplains Asso ciation, will sponsor a one - day workshop for ministers Tuesday, March 30. The purpose of the workshop is to allow ininlisters to spend a day with Carolina's chaplains and staff in order to enable these men to help the USC staff in preparing and sustaining USC students dur iniz their stay at the University. Two reprosentatives from each ministerial association in the state will be invited to the event, which will begin with an opening ses sion on the aiis and plans of Carolina, le by President Thomas F. Miss Kay Tolbert volunteered as chairman for the sororities and Doug Buchanan was in charge of the fraternities. Approximately 80 sorority women and 24 fraternity men participated in the drive. E. Smythe Gambrell of Atlanta. a past president of the Bar Asso ciation, offered the Alumni Asso ciation a unique challenge. If it succeeds in increasing its total membership by 1,000 and raises $25,000 toward its Educational Fund by May 20, Gambrell will present the Alumni Association with a $10,000 check at the grad uation exercises in the spring. Both Monday's and Tuesday's endeavors were very successful.
