The sororities each year engage in various activities. The competi tion in the area of scholarship, athletics, song fest, and Derby Day. Each sorority accumulates a certain amount of points, if the girls place in any of the events. There is no criterion which must be met because the award will be presented to the sorority with the highest number of points for a particular year. Keith Elliot, erstwhile presi dent of PiKA, says that this idea is not unique with him even though he is responsible for the origin of the award on this cam pus. Much literature on the sub ject came to him. Many campuses around the nation have an award that is similar to this. Dave Mc Innis is the chairman of the awards committee.
