(Continued on page 8) Team Urges Co-opera tion During Game To the Members of the Caro lina Student Body: Tonight and Saturday night we finish out the regular bas ketball season on our home court. We would like very much for these last two home games to be our best two and to fin ish up as we started the sea son--with victory ! You can help us win, but not by throwing paper cups onto the playing floor. This act of poor sporta manship in no way enhances our chance for a victory. It is true that very often, you, as fans, tend to disagree with a call made by an official, but the throwing of cups onto the court does not make the official change his call nor does it bene fit the team in any way. Early in the season we ap pealed to you for y-our hearts and lungs. We still need them! The AC(' Commissioner will be here to observe whether or not the USC students are as rowdy and rude at home games as he has been told that they are. You can help us win our last two by showing the spirit and enthusi asm that you showed the team at the beginning of the season. We need your support and good sportsmanship to show the rest of the conference that South Carolina can be proud of its team and fans for their ac tion on and off the court. Come to the games and let's show them w'hat we can do!
