Sorority Woman of the Year was awarded Ann, of Alpha Delta Pi; Orr was named Fraternity Man of the Year, representing Lamda Chi Alpha, and Dean Pat terson received the Faculty Man of the Year Award. Ann was chosen for the title on the basis of contributions to her sorority and to the sorority sys tem on campus. All phases of cam pus life are taken into considera tion. Her Pan-Hellenic activities include being current president of the Council, past sorority delegate and editor of the Pan-Hellenic Handbook. Varied Activities The senior education major is president of ADPi, past vice presi dent of the Women's Athletic As sociation and a member of Euphro synean Literary Society. Ann also divides her time be tween Kappa Delta Epsilon, Alpha Kappa Gamma and the "Y." This year, we have a full three nights of top notch entertainment," said Ralph Zlotnick, IFC president. The dance begins at 8 p.m. The Princeton Tigertones con sist of fifteen musicians, all stu dents at Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey. Pool has begun his duties as head of the Department of Civil Engineering in the College of Engineering at the University. Prof. Pool, a graduate of Caro lina, came to the faculty from the University of Illinois where he was studying toward his Ph. D. dagree. He received the master' y, John Orr eks of Yeari secutive semester. Contributions to his fraternity . and to the Interfraternity Council gained Orr the title. Offices he has held in Lambda Chi Alpha include outstanding pledge, vice president of his pledge class, historian, social chairman, vice president, and cor respondent. Active On Council John led his fraternity to one golf championship, and the runner up position in another. As an IFC member, he was elected to the Tribunal, was chairman of the Blood Drive last spring, and is now treasurer of this council. IFC Scholarship trophy for the academic year 1960-61 went to Chi Psi, which had the highest overall grade point ratio of the fraterni ties competing. Outstanding sorority women of the year are Nancy Ariail, Alpha Delta Pi; Connie Getsinger, Delta Zeta; Patty Whitlock, Pi Beta Phi; and Claudia Waites, Delta Delta Delta. Outstanding fraternity men of the year are Leo Marsden, Phi Kappa Sigma; Eddie Brown, Alpha Tau Omega; Doug Gray, Pi Kappa Phi; and Ralph Zlotnik, Phi Epsilon Pi. Banquet speaker w a s Sen.
