As of Wed., Feb. 8, 1961, the constitution has been changed to read as follows: "Those persons considered for membership must demonstrate their desire for mem hership by performing any task as set forth by the executive com mittee or the majority of the club. "Failure to perform said task according to standards of the club shall be reasonable grounds for non-acceptance. Applications shall not be considered more than two times." In the past the requirement for membership in the club was a letter of application and a vote of acceptance by the members of the club. The change in the qualifications was deemed necessary by present members because of people who join just to be in an organization and not because they want to pro mote school spirit. The task to be performed will concern helping decorate for foot NOTICE President Sumwalt h a s is sued a plea for students to re member to use the sidewalks instead of the grass when go ing to and from classes, as the increased traffic on the lawns will mar the beauty of our campus. Students probably be came used to walking "just any old way" during the snow, but now we should make every ef fort to help beautify the cam pus, especially on the historic Horseshoe.
