Committee Anr Details for fall elections have been announced by the lections Committee. The primary electiLoi will be held Oct. 17; run-offs are set for Oct. 11). Included in the elections are freshman class officers, which include president, vice president, secretary-treasurer, historian and three Student Council representatives, and homecoming queen. Vacancies on Student Council will he fillel on the following School of Enginver ing (1), Graduate School (2), College- of A ris. and Sciences (I ) School of E(ducatioll (1), and School of Pharmacy. NOMINATING CONVENTION The nominating convention will be held in Russell lloue assembly room) Friday. Oct. 7, from 2 to 5 p.m. Petitions are due at Russell House information desk Monday. Oct. 10 by 7 p.m. The Elections Committee, with Jack Wilson serving a chairman, outlined rules governing elections. Petitionn may be offered for all offices with the exception of homecoming queen. In the case of fr-shman eiAss offices and representatives, 'here must be nt least 50 signatures. Candidates for Studwnt Council representatives must have a 2.00 over-all grade point ratio. The Committee has set restrictions on the amount that may be spent in cam- que paigning for offices. Candidates for freshman class offices are limited to a maximum low of $20. Student Council candidates are allowed a campaign expense maximum of $15. At Tuesday's session the candi dates were given the three cheers that they will perform today. Tenl students. five boys and five girls, will be chosen for the fresh man line-up this year. Thwy will lead cheers at all honme football games and other athletic func tions. 'Judging vill be based on co ordination, form and enthlusiasi. Experielice is important but not necessary.
