I Bob Stevens Carolina Receives Atlas Set Ca-olina has been selected to re eive a set of maps which shows the political sub-divisions of Com munist China. The Atlas, prepared by the Central Intelligence Agency, was presented to the McKissick library by John A. C. Keith. The specialized Atlas is designed Lo aid research workers faced with Lhe problem of interpreting current information on Communist China in connection with its complex ad ministration structures. The data, accumulated during the last ten years, includes changes up to November 1, 1958. Alfred H. The top four contenders in this debate will journey to West Point on April 21 -23 for the National Finals. The nation is divided into nine districts each of which will send representatives to the Nationals, at which thP nation's top debating school will he named. The South eastern District, of which Carolina is at member, will meet at Wake Forest to determine which schools will represent this district. There are over 20 active teams in the Southeastern District, but only 10 teams will participate in the preliminaries. These 10 teams are chosen as a result of the record they have set during, this debate season. For the past three years, Caro lina has been the number one s c h o ol entering the Nationals from the Southeastern District. This weekend Carolina will par ticipate in two tourneys. Sonny Herring and Pete Martin will enter the Notre Dame National Invita tional Tournament. Wednesday has a banquet mcheduled at 7:30 p.m., at which time the awards for Fraternity Men of the Year will be presented. Stunt Night Thursday night brings to the USC campus the annual Stunt Night program in which all sorori ties take part. This program is sponsored by Pan-Hellenine a n d will be held in Drayton Hall. Stunt Night begins at 8:00 p.m., with tickets going on sale that night. No tickets will be sold prior to this time. The price is 75o per person, proceeds going to Pan-Hellenic's scholarship fund for foreign students. Trophies will be given to the sororities who take first, second, and third place in the coptest. Last year's winner was Pi Beta Phi with the skit "Eloise." June Mc Cauley is serving as chairman of the Stunt Night committee. Joni James, who preferred danc ing to singing in the beginning of her career, has become known na tionally for her w a r m, throaty voice. It was this quality that finally convinced her that singing should be her career. Friday night's concert begins at 9:00 p.m. Greek Week comes to the finale Saturday night with its formal dance from 8 to 12, starring Buddy Morrow and his orchestra.
