The answers were varled both in opinion and in reasoning behind opinion. BOB TISDAI.E, a sophomore, gives his views on the subject: "They might as well withdraw from the NSA. They have al ready, in my opinion, withdrawn from the student body. "Until the Rex Enright Sta dium drive, I had never heard of the Student Council doing any thing. Their second attempt at doing something, anything, meets with my approval." Probably I am in the minority on this opinion, but I thoroughly resent the council members from the College of Arts ind Sciences acting on my behalf without sounding out opinions on the matter. "NSA provides a valuable forum for our views-though they are minority views-and I do not think we have solved a problem by running away to form our own majority with an alleged 'service' organization, w h i c h seems to be a refuge for dis gruntled minorities. "This 'head-in-the-sand' ap proach is not one that will solve problems. Therefore, I think that both the withdrawal, and the way it was handled is wrong." This year the three Co lumbia chapters of Delta Omi cron met to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the fraternity. The guest speaker was Mrs. Fred Parker. Mrs. Parker showed various slides which were taken during the international conven tion of Delta Omicron this past summer. Many distinguished guests were present.
