The influence of last fall coupled with the fresh interest of spring brings forth an array of new creation to entice anyone. Signs of last season are no ticed in the sharply pointed toes which take on new interest with the addition of pleats or bows. This bit of interest, also a re minder of the winter season, takes shape ats the tailored gros grain bow on1 a patent pumip or, the sophisticated ui ffled or gilled adornments of more novel articles. "Shapes and Prints" Many additions: and changes are noted in siimer's forecast. Among them we find first the T-strap which achieved m i ld Iopularity previously. It is now seen with closed heel and toe, or closed toe, often in a vivid array of hues. Thinking in colors, we next come to the prints, quite new in many of their variations. Most frequently in tle shape of pumps, exotic rints of linen or silk are fea tured in T-straps and even com bined with clear p)lastie usually ft.und with matching bags. As You Please Heels are varied, so suit your self. Raised hemlines would seem to indicate shorter heels, namely the popular metal-tipped (pee heel of the little pullp. However, we seem to find an in crease in the popularity of the very high heel which, we must admit, does more for the ankles. Several years ago saw the birth of a brand new iden women would say farcwell to those dull brown or gray hose; new hose would be chosen in tones to match shoes. But, no, the idea fell dead; women re fused to sheath their legs in greens and blues. After thinking it over, designers are trying once more in hopes that the ladies will reconsider; who knows, perhaps they will!
