Lowenstein, field secre tary of the UN Collegiate Coun- t cil, said. Lowenstein spoke to the local International Relations C l u b Thursday as part of a three-month nation-wide tour. He also pointed out the results of student activities in other coun tries, particularly, the student-led freedom revolt in Hungary. Students must learn more about the peoples of the world to better understand other countries. Amer ica's loss of good will among other countries in the last 20 years has been partly due to this failure to understand, he said. Today American political lead ers feel that students should be come active in promoting world leadership, he added. UND PLAN le launching at the Kearny, N. J., Works recently, d Plan.
