Miss Moore was presented bouquet of roses and was seri t n, is id is ci m kcs th Sorority Quotas Rise The quota for the sororities was changed by an action of Panhellenic Council from 47 to 50, stated Grace Zimmerman, president of the council. This is the first change in id approximately four years when it was also increased from a previous low. "The reason for the change is that we have so many more t girls than last year," said Miss Zimmerman. "Most fraternity houses I've seen are old and decrepit-looking but these at Carolina are beautiful." Miss Moore was escorted from the Palmetto Theatre to Building G by a motorcade of Sig Eps. Her visit to the campus followed her afternoon appearance on the stage of the theatre. Photographers Flock An avalanche of amateur hotographers followed Miss Moore into the Sig Ep house. She posed smilingly for all of them. Inside the fraternity house Miss Moore appeared relaxed. She :hatted with the boys, admired trophies and shook hands with the fraternity's sweetheart, Marty Nickerson. Fred YVigfield, president, wel romed Miss Moore to Carolina and presented her with a bouquet of red roses. The fraternity then serenaded her with the Sig Ep Sweetheart Song. "It's beautiful," Miss Moore said. "It makes me wish I were pinned again." She smiled coyly when a Sig Ep asked her what fraternity pin she wore, but the question re mained unanswered. Touring South "This visit to the campus is one of the highlights of my tour through the South," the screen ;tar said. Miss Moore is on her first tour of the South at the expense of Twentieth Century Fox. "The southern accent is grand. Faux-Pas at Luncheon Miss Moore said the most em barrassing thing that happened to her while she was in Columbia took place at -A luncheon given for her by the women's Pilots Club. "I thought they invited me be cause I have a license to fly. When I talked to them I asked if they all had their 'pilot's license and I thought the whole house would fall in from all the laughing," Miss Moore related. The star was unaware the Pilots Club is a civic organization. Miss Moore is a licensed pilot and has even been checked out in a jet. Upon leaving the fraternity house, Miss Moore presented one of the members with a photograph upon which was inscribed: "To the Alpha chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon, love and wishes and ,t's been grand knowing you, Terry Moore."
