According to Colic B. Bundrick, campus pol ice chief, six spaces were removed from the side of the street near kussell House and two frnm the other side. Chief indrick stated that originalvN, only one space had been removed from the side of the street oppuo.-ite Russell House, but later it was decided to remove another due to the great amount of traffic using the one-way alley coming from the horseshoe. This will enable motorists to have a better view of the oncoming traf fic before entering Green Street, he said. Chief Bundrick said that he wished to emphasize the fact that the removal of these parking spaces was done to improve the conditions at the heavily travelled crossing. Ile pointed out that the removal of these "valuable parking spaces" were removed especially to help the situation as far as safety. Students now living on- the Horseshoe , will have priority to these rooms. Students desiring rooms for the summer are requested to sign up between May 7 and May 12. Students now living on - the Horseshoe will have priority to those rooms but must sign up for them on May '7 and 8, he said. Other summer reserva tions should be made between May 9 and May 12. CHES Chorus, E Spring Cc The annual spring concert by the instrumental ensembles and the University choruswill be pre sented tonight at 8:30 in Drayton Hall. The program which is sponsored by the Department of Music will include numbers by the brass and woodwind ensembles, the spring ensemble, the chorus,. and several soloists. Soloists will be John Mitchum, trombonist; James Craig, violin ist; Mary Elizabeth Lewis, so prano; Edward Rouffy, oboist; and Lucy Lennox .Sanders, so prano. Tonight's performance will be the first public appearance this semester for the chorus and the string ensemble. Donald L. Banschbach is direc tor of the brass and woodwind en senbles, and Edwin F.
