* UniVer: Placement Summer ~ Mr. Bruce Martin of Lever Brothers, Pepsodent Division, will interviewv in the School of Business Administration on May 9. He wishes to talk with Business Ad ministration majors interested in sales positions with his company. Atlanta, Georgia is headquarters, but the salesmen to be selected wvill have headquarters in Colum bia and wvill travel this state. A car and expense advance will be furnished. Norwood Evans, Placement Officer, National Advisory Com mittee for Aeronautics, Langley Field, Virginia. Openings for men who have completed their junior Eyear in physics, mechanical, elec trical or civil engineering. Salary will be based on yearly rate of $3,175. Veterans Administration, Wash ington 25, D. C. Openings for engineer's for summer work. Men who have completed their sopho more year will be paid approxi mately $246 a month; with $265 a month offered to those between junior and senior year. Frank J. Cummings, Recruit ment Officer, U. S. Naval Gun Factory, Washington 25, D. C., lists summer jobs in the Washing ton area for engineering students in a variety of fields. Salaries offered are as follows: completion of freshman year--$2,750 per annum; sophomore year $2,950 per annum; junior year-$3,175 per annum. The Gun Factory is particularly interested in students who have completed their junior year, but will accept applications from all three groups. I. Y.
