THE PLEDGE CLASS OF DE] McKinney, Joan Harter, Jane Buth Harriet lippleniever, and Sally Wal 5a.Ai o i7J.?a cL By Carolyn McClung With a two-week holiday at hand, we all have the problem of what to take home in the line of clothes, and what to leave here. 1aggage won't be too much of a problem for those going by car, but the ones taking a bus or train won't want to be encumbered with too much luggage, and the ones flying can only take a certain amount. First, plan what you will be doing while you are at home. De cide upon skirt and sweater com hiiations that can be mixed and matcheld, instead of a number of different combinations for every day wear. There's no getting around the party clothes, for Christmas is a party season almost everywhere. However, it won't hurt to wear the same dress more than once, and it might even work out so that the same bag or shoes can be worn with several outfits. If you are taking a formal home, you defin itely have a problem, but you might he able to mail it before you leave. That would eliminate hav ing to cope with one more suit case or a cumbersome box. It's amazing, the things you can get in a hatbox if you have one hats, shoes and pocketbooks, be sides numerous other odds and ends. To the Columbia girls, we say you're lucky, because you dlon't have to worry about this sort of thing.4 A soft wool would be exactlyI the thing for Christmas carolling one night with hot chocolate after- 1 wardls at someone's house. Don't I forget to take boots home if you live where there will be snow. ] 6' tougl into a A' great-gr Grandfath( the theatre.
