LAND Now that elections are over, political talk has died down for awhile, Carolina goes on as before. And to prove it The Pi Beta Phi's opened the spring season with a blue jean party at the "Y" camp last Friday night. Some of those attending were: SYLVIA CAMPBELL and BOB PITTS, Sigma Nu; JANET KARR and WES SANDERS, Sigma Nu; CAROLINE WHITMIRE and BILL TODD, Sigma Chi; JOYCE CAUDELL and WARREN GRIFFIN, Sigma Nu; PAT HOUGH and TOMMY POLLARD, Lambda Chi, ANN CARLISLE and SONNY MILLER, POLLY MISHOE and SMOKEY DAROUSE, KA; NAT HARRISON and SAM HIL BORN, Sigma Chi; RAMONA SALLEY and BUDDY BONDS, KA; and SALLEY PEARMAN and DON ELLIOT, Sigma Nu. It really must be spring! Why else would all the PiKA's rush off to Ocean Drive for a fabulous houseparty last week end? JUNE MARSHALL, ADPi, had as her guest last week her sister, VESTA MARSHALL from King College in Bristol, Tenn. The houseparty fever seems to be spreading or could it be this weather-ADPi's and their dates housepartying this week end at Myrtle Beach were PUSH TINSLEY and JIMMY HOLLIDAY, REGINA OWENS and TOMMY ROGERS, STU McKEE and BOB LANGSTON, LAURA SOSSAMON and JACK COLLINS. Over to A.ugusta for a "week end at the Maxwell House" were Lambda Chi's NORRIS MULLIS, TOMMY POLLARD, FRANK BOATWRIGHT, and CARLOS SALTERS. (Any trouble, boys?) J. HAGOOD NORMAN visited ELLEN DO.UGLAS at St. Theresa Beach in Florida last week end. The Pi Kappa Phi's housepartied at Edisto Beach follow ing their dance. ATO's BILLY MAHONY, BOB EDMONDS, and JINKS CHRISTIAN are planning a trip to New Orleans soon. And congratulations to ARLIE JOHNSON, ATO alum, who just received a promotion in the Air Force.
