St. Patrick must've been lurking. NANCY MOOREHEAD was pronounced the most outstand ing pledge. Scholastically high were VEE CHURCH and SARA QUINN. Pi Kap, BURT BENNETT, tells us that their carrot fiend, RABBIT HARE, was MC at their dance last Wednesday night. On the bill were dancing exhibitions by DOODLE MUNN and HANK FULMER ; T. J. CUPSTID related anec dotes, and BUSTER BROWN a'nd' LANNY SHAY vibrated their vocal chords. - The following KD's ascended to Williamsburg, Va., last Friday: ANN DARSEY, MACK HALFORD, JO ANN SPROTT, NELLE McCANTS, and BETTY BELLINGER. They enjoyed eating those Virginia hams. MARYEDITH DAVIS made a study of the Coastal Plain around Beaufort last weekend. JIM FINDLEY, Lambda Chi, attended the Junior Follies at Winthrop over the weekend. TED SALEEBY, same, climbed to Greensboro, N. C., for a wedding - It is not clarified whose. Last Thursday, the Tri-Delts entertained their new ac tives at the Market Restaurant. Sig Ep, LEONARD SHIPMAN, was named to the All Tournament Basketball Team. JOHN "COLLIE" GOLON, Sig Ep, assisted at an Atlanta affair. RUDY THIGPEN, likewise, was a spectator at the S. C. Tourney games in Raleigh. The Pi Phi's had a party at the 'Y' Camp on Saturday night. These are also planning to have their Spring Formal on April 18. GEORGE "BEB" DAVIS, who is behind his face in THE English 21 Class, will marry Norma Marsha on April 16. ZEDDIE HORTENSE PRESNELL and ANTOINETTE KENNEDY went to Beaufort. BOB DOCKERY, ex-Carolina football player, was a runner-up in a golf match on Parris Island. The Carolina Christian Service Club gave a talent show Tuesday night out at the Veterans' Hospital. LENNIE OBRENTZ and TED KURTZ, Phi Eps. gathered ultra-violet rays at the beach last weekend. To the Pi KA's, I humbly apologize for the misnomer applied to them two weeks ago. They boast five new pledges: BUDDY ULMER, HUGH GIBBS, WESLEY WAITES, RICHARD COOPER, and DICK ROSSI. Two activations include: MIKE COES and SONNY COLEMAN. Also, the Pika's held a dungaree party in the middle of Bluff Road recently. The University Players had a party out at the 'Y' Camp on Thursday night. Friday night, the 'Y' Camp was host to the ZTA party. Newly pledged to the Sigma Chi's are: DANNY WRIGHT, JOHN GRAHAM, BOB CANNON, JOHN SCOTT, ELMORE VIELE, LARRY HOOKS, and P. L. ELVINGTON. The Sigma Nu's roasted wieners out at Pinewood Satur-' day night. They also have some Nu - I mean, new pledges: DIXON WADE, BOBBY COLEMAN, GEORGE JOHNSON, AL CROCKER, JOHN KENNINGTON, TOMMY THOMA SON, and PAUL McKINNEY. According to a Panhellenic rul ing, any sorority which does not have at least 30 members at the end of formal rush week may rush any coed informally for thirty days. The co-ed must have the qualifica tions for pledging, but it is not necessary for her to have attended a formal rush period. Rush week will begin March 31 and end. April 4.
