Several Delta Sig's and alumni partied Saturday night ir
an attempt to forget that last minute pass. (Perhaps an
opium dream would've done the trick, too.) It seems they
jumped from one house to another, until they bumped into the
Sunday morning (mourning) sunrise, which reminded them
that another day was coming ... and all this after two initia
tion nights!
Lambda Chi's JIM FINDLEY and JOHN MARKEY visited
the Lambda Chi Alpha Chapter at the University of Georgia
on Sunday. What were "all of you" doing down there?
Attention! Seen at Morris' Lodge this past weekend were
the following SAE's and dates: ED ROYALL, BUD GRIS
WOLD, GEORGE JAMES, and BOB JERNIGAN.
SAE's had a party at the Columbia Hotel with the music
of Harold June. Present among the alumni were MORTY
MULLER who is now in the U. S. Air Forc, and FORT
WOLFE of the U. S. Marine Corps . . . Gung Ho!
KA's are planning a Rush party at the Columbia Country
Club.
Phi Ep's IVAN MILLER and ALLAN BAKER are
descending to the depths of Savannah, Ga. for a party ...

RALPH BRADFORD, KA, is pinned to BETTY ANNE
WILLIAMS, who is attending Mary Baldwin College in
Staunton, Virginia.
Sigma Nu's had two parties at Morris Lodge this past
week. One was Wednesday and t'other was Thursday.
KA's have intentions of holding a rush smoker at the sum
mer home of FRED JUMPER.
And the Sigma Nu's are to have a house party at Lake
Lure.
ANN and GRADY FAIRCLOTH, Pi Beta Phi and Pi
Kappa Phi, respectively, were here for the Big Thursday
game.
Members of Radio Station WUSC had a "Grand, old
party" on the left-hand lane of the Highway to Spartanburg
on Saturday night.
Phi Epsilon Pi had a drop-in after the KA dance on Big
Thursday at the Jefferson Hotel. Alums from as far as New

mediately following Friday's initia
tion.
The fraternity expects to hold
one more initiation this semester,
and all students interested in join
ing this, the largest of all profes
sional commerce fraternities, are
invited to drop in at the chapter
room in Tenement 14 any time
next week.

Of Sigma Nu
Rush Party
The Sigma Nu social fraternity
had their rushees party Thursday,
November 8, at the Columbia Hotel.
The party began at 9 and lasted
until 12 midnight. Music was fur
nished by Woody Woodward and
his orchestra.
Professor J. A. Brown, of the
psychology department, chaperoned
the fraternity, Bard Allison, presi
dent, announced.

New officers were elected for the
Compass and Chart Society No
vember 8, at 6:30 p. in., Art
rreiber, president, has announced.
Further plans for the party for
November 16 which Compass and
Chart is planning will be formu
lated.
The Compass and Chart Society
is the social branch of the NROTC
and invites members who are in
terested to join. Regular meetings
are held every Thursday night in
Hamilton college, room 201.
