For Everyone By NEIL McCASKILL Once a year there comes a day when people dress in their best and go out among their friends to re ceive the coMepliments which flow freely on that day. It is a day of bright colors, which blend with the newly created colors of a new spring. On this dy, the birds seem to chirp a little more joyfully and the fragrance of the warm Spring sun causes the trees to put forth little buds which will contribute to the green blanket soon to cover the earth. The beauty and the fragrance of the flowers sparkling in the sun lingers with one long after he has lost sight of them. Little children dream of the much-discussed Easter bunny which brings them shiny, tasty little candy eggs; it is a day of egg hunts, games and frolics for the youngsters. Grown-ups also get some of this spirit which this day emanates, when nature reigns supreme. A day of peaceful rest, when all labor ceases and people gather to wor ship. This holy holiday has a great deal of meaning to Christians. It is preceded by Palm Sunday, one week before Easter, the day when Christ made his last entrance into Jerusalem. T h e populace lay branches of palms in the path of the donkey on which Jesus sat as he entered the city. Good Friday, two days before Easter, is the day on which Christ was crucified, nearly 2,000 years LETTER - nts, Faculty and ve Staff if you will investigate prompt service you will dry cleaning to :RS11Y RY CLEANING lICE The Canteen nce all claims are settled pus. *T hed to P HILIP MORRISI" red 20-20 vision to discover s switching to the on. cigarette itely less Irritating, de6nitely iy other leading brand. the reason! iDRIS ODK Givc For Memb Below is the point system for Omicron Delta Kappa for the 1950 Spring term.
