By RUDY THIGPEN The 1950 Spring preview of football talent will get under way at 8 o'clock tonight when the Black team clashes with the Gar net on Melton Field. The event is the annual intra-squad football game that terminates Spring prac tice. This year's game is expected to be a thriller and will feature two of the roughest and most evenly matched teams to be presented. So important is the game that it is being covered by-the press from all over South Carolina and the leading papers of Charlotte. A capacity crowd of 6,WO fans is ex pected to be on hand when the game starts. It will be a regulation game vith officials, down markers and everything that goes with a Satur day afternoon performance in the Fall. The only deviation from regular rules is that there will be no kick off, instead the ball will be given to one team and put into play.
