It is all-inclusive, embrac Ing all sports. In the interest of promoting the same and with the belief that it will tend to develop good sports manship,. clean play, and bene fit the individual generally, Tht Gamecock sports staff presenti -these rules, in toto, to you foi your guidance. ARTICLE I. - Organization foi Competition. A. All teams representing Fra. ternities are grouped in the Fra ternity Division and compet against each other for the Frater nity Division championship in eac1 sport. B. Teams representing dormi tories and all Independent team are grouped in the Independen Division. All students of the Univej sity are eligible to enter any au tivity conducted by the Intramuri Department except as pronvMI'e these rules. B. A student who has receive the varsity award in this or ar other institution is not eligible I compete in that particular apor C. Regular members of a Fres] man, Junior Varsity or Varsii squad who dropped off the squi after the first regularly scheduh game for that sport are ineligib to participate in that sport duriI that season. D. Students who are barr< from an intercollegiate sport b cause of professionalism are ba red from the same sport in tl intramural program. E. All actives, inactives al pledges of a fraternity may repi sent the fraternity if otherwi eligible. F. All students (non-fraternit are eligible to compete in the . dependent Division. G. A player cannot play more than one team in any giv~ sport.
