social chairman.
Tentative plans were made to
hold the annual Jiorry-Carolina
Christmas dance- in conjunction
with the Clemson-Horry club.
The Horry-Carolina club will
hold itg. next meeting at 7 p. m.,
Wednesday, Nov. 5, in 101 Legare.

Class members will write, pro
luce, and put on the entire show.
Each member will be assigned to
team for one week. In order to
get experience in all phases of
'adio work, teams will be rotated

"This program has a two-fold
purpose," Hardin said, "It will
give each student experience and

and carrying out a series of pro
crams. Secondly, it will give

Scholarship board.
This new fellowship program
has as its purpose the discovering
of students of unusual ability and
helping them secure further edu
cation, according to a bulletin re
ceived by the university. The pro
gram is administered by an inde
pendent group of educators who
comprise the Pepsi-Cola Scholar
ship board, and 'are offered by the
Pepsi-Cola Co.
Any college student receiving
a degree during the 1947-48 school
year may apply for one of the
fellowships. Winners will be se
