dren, Inc., in New York City and I
received nine year old Anthonia i
E. Vantol to help care for.
Anthonia, called "Toni" by the
fraternity at her own request, has
a sister and a twin brother and
sister. Her father died in a Ger
man concentration camp; her
mother is still living.

Darden, a former governor of

Doctor Gee attended the Univer
ity of South Carolina in 1910, and
btained his M.A. degree here that
rear. Born at Union, S. C., he re
:eived his B.S. from Clemson and
is Ph.D. from the University of
california.
Doctor Gee also holds honorary
egrees from Clemson and the
University of Alabama, and has
attended the University of Chi
