HAVEN'T WE MET SOMEWHERE BEFORE ... same
old type and same old space ... We wonder if the little col
ored boy with the wide grin who knocked on Dr. Babcock's
classroom door the other morning and then strolled in to
ask if "Miss Mary was a student in this school"
? ever found Miss Mary ... Footprints heard down the hall
indicated that other classrooms received the same visit.
Folks seen recently visiting on campus ... Reese Smith,
SAE, back to see his brothers ... Maxine Stukes, ZTA alum,
visited friends on the campus last weekend. Maxine is on
her way to the University of Texas for a two weeks' course
and from there she will go to Minnesota as a physio-theropist

guest of Mrs. Bartlett for luncheon in the Wade Hampton

the state house building ... Bobby Davis, of Georgia Tech
football fame, flew down to visit Doris Boris last weekend
... Fred Beck, Lambda Chi, alum, visited his brothers.

glories of the Clemson Mid-Winter. Some were Mary Lou
Kirkland, KD, Caroline Sligh, KD, Betty Fisher, Tri-Delta,
Sarah Bull, Tri-Delta, Rose Brown, Polly Carnell, Pat Young,
Cookie Saumnineg, KD, Betty Jean Strom and Boots Clarke,

corresponding secretary, with Harry Cygeilman; Fay Lo
mansky, pledge mother, with Bob Zalkin....

man, Joe O'Hara, Earl Ellis, and Dick Larkins went to Spar
tanburg for a SAE convention... .
Getting sentimental again ... m-m-m-m-m-m Louise
Gilmer and Bill Brooks, Pi Kappa Sig, were recently wed ...
Cathy Bryant and John Westly Bradham, Pi Sigma Kappa,
are pinned....
House parties lined up for the Spring Holidays are: Pi
Kappa Sig's down at Myrtle, and Kappa Sig's down at Paw
ley's Island.. .
Sunday afternoon the pledges of Delta Delta Delta Sorority
will entertain the members of Kappa Sigma and Alpha Tau
Omega with a drop-in in their room in Sims College...
"It isn't so bad to have a "line" nor to use it to string them
all along-but if those string get together-it's a rope"....

mle Caldwell, James White, Bert Wheeler, Bob McEllawee,
and Charles Coffey. .. .
