Frank Frederick Covington, '06A, of Marion, is associate professor of English at Mississippi State College for Women, Columbus, Miss., While a student at Carolina, Doctor Cov ington was prominent in student activities, having served as editor of the Garnet and Black and as president of his class. lie received his M. A. degree from Harvard University in 1913 and his Ph.D. from Yale University in 1924. lie is listed in the "Biographical Direc tory of American Scholars.'
