eniors On May Senior Invitatioi At University F Commencement exercises will be 1held this year at the University on May 30, and 31, announced John A. Chase, dean of administration. No speed-up program will affect these dates, he says. The baccalaureate sermon to the graduating members of the class will take place on May 30, Sunday, at 8 p. n. No announcement has been made yet regarding who will preach the sermon. The board of trustees of the Uni versity will hold a meeting on May 31. The board of women visitors will also be in session on this day so as to facilitate traveling prob lems. GRADUATION EXERCISES Graduation exercises will take place on May 31, at 7 p. m. They will probably be held on Melton Field if weather permits, according to dean Chase. No definite an nouncement has been made, how 4ver, concerning this he centinued. . In a further announcement con cerning graduation, Dean Chase said that all grades for members of the graduating class of gradulate or senior level will be lue in the registrar's office on the first day of the examination period. All other grades for members of the gradu ating class will be due within 24 hours after the examination is held. ADDITIONAL INVITATIONS An announcement from the of fice of C. F. Mercer, a member of the faculty, stated that a large num ber of additional invitations to the graduation exercises had been or dered by the University, and that any student who had not bought any invitation or any who decided to buy swane more, would be abe to do so at the University post of fice any time after May 10.
