BINA Page Three onight Hemphill Makes Music For Dance In Naval Armory The annual spring German will be held on Friday night from nine 'til o-e in the Naval ROTC ar mory with Melvin Hemphill and his orchester furnishing the music. The German will follow the Pi Kappa Alpha tea dance to be held Friday afternoon. Two main events of the dance will be the grand march before in termission, featuring a medley of fraternity songs, and the senior figure held after intermission. The three regular no-breaks will be danced to the familiar tunes of "I Love You Truly", "As Time Goes By", and "Dearly Beloved." Officers of the German Club and their sponsors are as follows: Bill Horger, president, with Patty Law rence; Jimmy Parler, vice-president, with Catherine Stone from Flor ence; Sam Beecham, secretary, with Louise Anderson; Bill Blake, treas urer, with Mary Louise Goudelock; Also: Othniel Wienges, assistant treasurer, with Isabelle McCants; Bays Moore, chairman of initiation committee, with Betty Jane Ever ett; Frankie Marion, chairman of decorations, with Betty Marshall; Jimmy Leppard, senior leader, with Rosemary Vincent; and Mac Rud isell, junior leader, with Juliette La Borde. The German Club is composed of several fraternities on the campus and is the oldest organized dance club in the United States. Its only program is that of giving four an nual dances.
