Dean Olsen Promises Best Band In Years Indications point to the best band in years for the University, ac cording to Director George E. Olson. Freshmen who have tried out for the band this year have shown much more talent than those in previous years. Director Olson thinks this is due to the increased interest in high school bands. Numerically speaking, the band thus far is smaller than that of last year. However, it is hoped that after the first football game, keener interest will be shown in the band's activities. Outstanding members of last year's band who have been called into service during the current na tional emergency are L. B. (Bucky) Adams and Stanley Brose. CAROLINA FNGRAVING CO.
