Coed Rifle Team Organized By Nash And Frank Hoskins Pennington And Former Chief Petty Officers In Charge Of Range Firing The University of South Carolina is soon going to have a co-ed rifle team to represent the school in meets with other schools. The coaches and organizers of the team are John Nash and Frank Hoskins. Both coaches have high hopes that the team will be a suc cess. Eliminations for positions on the team will be held today at the prac tice gallery in the gym. Chief petty officers of the ROTC stationed here, Pennington and Farmer, are in charge of range fir ing. The girls competing for the team are: Jane Cox, Lavinia Lyles, Marion Marsher, Betts Gawler, Ann Gregory, Betty Boinneau, Paulette West, Harriet Williamson, Jean Moore, Alice Conaway and Lil Ward.
