YMCA Finaucial Drive Nets Almost $1015 Glover And Smoak Win Town Theatre Tickets The' Carolina Y. M. C. A. cam paign for funds ended Friday with a tOtal of $1,014.50 collected. This is about $60.00 more than was raised last year. As there are still about 200 male students and a few professors at Carolina who have not been ap proached by the workers, Y leaders expect that this semester's collec tions will total more than $1,100.00. Tickets to the Carolina-Clemson and season tickets to the Town The ater will be awarded to Clarence Glover and Anthony Smoak, who turned in the most money, $63.00, during the campaign. This is the fourth year of the publication and for the first time it will carry papers on legal topics written by practicing members of the bar. The Yearbook of the Seldon So ciety is published in January and June. A copy is given to every law student and the Society mails a copy to every practicing lawyer and ju rist in the state. It is the only puli lication of its kind in South Carolina. It is exchanged with all other law schools that publish a Law Review or yearbook. This year for the first time it will be included in the in dex of legal periodicals. Robert Vandiver, president of the Law Federation presided at the meet ing. The proposal was explained by Kenneth Fryfogle, chancellor of the Seldon Society and co-editor of the Yearbook. Dean Frierson of the Law School gave a history of the Seldon Society and the progress it has made. After the motion was passed to ex pand the Yearbook gradually into a law review, President Vandiver ap pointed a committee consisting of Albert James, chairman, and Rudy Barnes, seniors; Arthur Williams and I. D.
