Funds from thq S urday night dances are being used furnish the various rooms in the bui ing and to buy equipment for lobby. A radio will be installed in the m room next week, Professor W. Woods, director of the building nounced yesterday. The money is hand for magazine subscriptions for heavy covers with which to k< the current weeklies. The magazii will be placed in the lobby as soon the students have expressed th preferences and the subscription ders have been sent in. The directors of the building forced to try numerous money-m ing schemes to make money with wh to furnish the building. The Univ sity has supplied the main furnitt sofas, tables, and chairs; all other f nishings have had to be donated earned by the directors. The first project set forth by 1 Woods was the acquisition of c tains for the lobby. These, chosen Mrs. McKissick, were hung in lobby last week. After the installation of the ra< Mr. Woods said, the money collec by the directors will go toward purchase price of rugs, which, it estimated will cost between three five hundred dollars. -U. U. 0. Masquerade Ball Tickets On Sale At Canteen Now Tickets are now on sale at the c teen for the masquerade ball to presented by the sophomore freshman classes on March 19. Buddy Riser and his Savoy B room Orchestra, a nationally-kno colored band of twelve pieces, play for the dance. The ball, the f of its kind in a number of years, begin at 8 and last until 12, in gymnasium. Prizes will be given to the bi dressed dancers.
