Will Speak To Students

offense, dismissal from the University.
"Resolved further, that this amend
ment relieves the constitutionally es
tablished Student Honor Committee
only of the burden of hearing cases in
volving class room deportment, and
does not affect the functions of that
committee in administering any code
of honor which the student body may
elect or establish."
The second motion passed to third
reading next Wednesday night is as
follows: Resolved, that the Social Cab
inet election be changed from the sec
ond week in October to the first week
in May.
The motions will be open for dis
cussion at the next meeting. At this
time the students will voice their
opinions on the proposed amendments
to the constitution, the fate of the
measures depending upon their ballot
ing.
Another resolution failed for lack of
a sponsor. It was to the effect that
fraternities and sororities have faculty
supervision of finances.
Gedney Howe and Don Ham, op
posing the move, said that the student
body should play hands off so far as
the social organizations are concerned
inasmuch as they aren't subscribed to
by students as a whole. No one sup
ported the proposal, it only being con
sidered at all because it was included
in the petition for a meeting presented
the president last week.
