Second Term Hours Given Will Follow Old Plai Ohase Announces That Registra tion Will Be Identical With First Semester Registration of all students for tli second semester will be on Monda and Tuesday, February 4 and 5, ac cording to John A. Chase, registrai The registration hours will be froi 9 a. in. to 1 p. in. and from :i p. m. t 5 p. m. The registration for the second sc mester will be identical with that c the first semester, that is freshmc will register in Sloan College, an upper classmen will register in Davi College. Law students will register i Petigru College, and graduate student in the Extension building. New students enrolling for the sec ond semester will report for registra tion, Saturday, February 2, at !) a. n in room 232 in the new Educations building, for preliminary registratio and testing. Preliminary registration is require of all students entering the Univei sity, for the first time, according t Mr. Chase. The only exception to tlii requirement is made to the law an graduate students. The treasurer will collect fees in th University chapel instead of the usu: place in Flinn Hall. The registra will approve student schedules in tli Extension building as has been don in the past. Chapel will begin according t j schedule. Wednesday, February 6, classes wi begin at 8 a. m. After Tuesday, Fcl r ruary 5, students will be required t pay a late registration fee. Gym Team To Meet Panzf New Equipment Issuec Tumblers Prepare For Great Sea son; Annapolis Cancels Bout The University gym team will met Panza College Monday, January 2 in the Field house. A quantity of no equipment has been purchased, whic will be used in putting on this pet formance. Many are expected to attend thi first performance of this nature in Cc lumhia. The Carolina team is in th peak of shape for the meet and ar hoping to come out of the mee victorious. Annapolis recently wrote Carolin officials that it would be impossibl to schedule a meet with their tean this season. There are however othe likely prospects with whom Colum bia's tumblers may compete. An attempt to schedule other meet will probably be made and its resul published later.
