Christian Program Pleases Transient The Carolina Christian Service clul presented a program at the Transicn Home at Camp Jackson, Sunday nigh December 12, under the direction o R. F. Munday. Among those who participated it the program were Frank Munday, J. A Brigham, Eugene Sasser, J a m e Walsh, and Bill Harley. Bill Harley addressed the group. Fred Ellis is president of the Caro lina Christian club. Wertz To~TakePart In "Rain From Heaven' Wilbur Wertz, former University student and until this year technica director of the Columbia Town theater will play the part of the South Caro lina boy in the New York Theatei Guild's coming production, "Rain fron Heaven. He will also act as assistant stage manager. The play will poen it Boston December 10 and after a tria run there will go to New York. In the cast of the play will be sucl well known actors as Jane Cowl Thurston Hall and Lily Cahill. Wertz, while in Columbia, took a prominent part in Town theater worl doing several roles in its production; and also designing and executing tin scenery. His work while lie was her< gained high praise and he was coiv sidercd to be exceptionally talent^ for a man of his age. Wilson's Mill Visited By Sociology Classes Wilson's Mill was visited by representatives from the sociology classes this week. The large number of chil drcn present at the meeting were in thusiastic about the coming "Sant\ Claus." Miss Frances Revere played the organ for the singing and Mr. Robert DuBose made an inspiring talk. The other representatives were: Misses Georgia Sandifer, Peggy Stoddard Adelaide Philson, Betty Carlisle, Mar> Bruce, and Mr. Darrel Bruce. Mrs Rosamond Winiberly took them out.
