This Is London"; Play Presented
March 9-10-11
John Craps of Miami, Florida and
a senior in the School of Education,
has been added to the cast of "So
This Is London," which will be presented
by the Palmetto Players in
the chapel M^rch 9-10-11, William
Dean, director, announced today. He
will play the part of Thomas, an English
butler.The
production is receiving careful
and adequate staging in an attempt
to duplicate the success it scored in
London and New York.

this orchestra has acquired an enviable
reputation not only in the city, but
throughout the state. It is entirely a
voluntary organization, financed by a
group of patrons of the University and
the city who contribute one dollar
yearly to its music fund.
Four concerts are given yearly, producing
overtures, symphonies, and
suites of various moods. This is the
only orchestra of this size and balance
in the State of Soilth Carolina. The
orchestra is noted for the particularly
lovely quality of the string section and
for its ensemble.
