__ cc Dr. Bradley Repeats "Honor System" Talk Y W C A Hears Interesting Lec ture By Professor Thurs day Atternoon Tracing the Honor System from its beginnings up to the present time, Dr. Bradley gave a most interesting and informative discussion of it and its present status on the campus before the meeting of Y.W.C.A. and their visitors Thursday afternoon. Dr. Bradley traced the rise and gradual decline of the honor principle and emphasized that the act'on taken by the faculty in regard to it last spring was the expressed wish of the student body, and the faculty does not ques tion the honor of a student any more today than it did fifty years ago. The faculty allows offenses to he taken care of by a committee from the class of the offender. Dr Bradley gave a talk similar to the one which he gave before the Y.W C.A. a week ago. The Y.V. is at temnting to make the principles and 'raditions of Carolina very clear and real to the new girls. and discussions such as Dr. Bradlev's is one of meth eds beinr_ used Since repairs are Po111),ted at Flinn T-Tall. Dear Miss Barefacts: I have a friend who is a very fine feliow but a woman-hater. lIf he cot-ld just have a chance .to meet some girls, I know they'd like him once they learn ed how pleasant he is, but how can I get him to meet some? Solivitious. I)ear Solicitous: Your problem is so simple I'm sur prised at your asking a solution. My dear boy-all you have to do is pass th; word around the girl friends that he is a woman hater. In a couple of month, you'll be writing to ask me how to keel) him out of matrimony. I)ear Miss Barefacts: 1 am a gay light-hearted girl and : have done some things in the spirit o good, clean fun which an enemy is now threatening to bring to light. I fear that if they become known : will be so cially ostracized. What shall I do stay here and live it down or go away where no one knows me and begin again? Troubled. Dear Troubled: L believe that it's a great mistake to attempt to quench the high spirits of youth. Don't let then keep on stopping your fun, my dear-by all means, get out of town, and begin again.
