TO THE ROUGHNECK-SIX Here's a health to the 'Roughneck Six,' The cutest of girls at the dorm; How 'Mother Mid' raves at their sim ple tricks, She swears they're worse than a storm. Flappers and vamps and experienced girls, They're the stuff, if you know it, I say They've taken a lot of life's great whirl, In their happy-go-lucky way. First comes the leader, you know 'Cap tamin Claude,' She's experienced, and sure likes to hug; Don't love her too much, you might get clawed, Along with a slap on the mug. And next in command comes 'Kap ,tain Kat,' She's the smartest and sweetest of all; I saw her, I loved her, I fell for the Rat,' Ye Gods I but 'twas easy to fall. Always in order, are lieutenants, you know, And in this, 'tis Lieutenant 'Lib;' Ask Bill Anderson, he knows 'bout her mo', Than I do-without telling a 'fib.' And 'Sergeant Lee', there's the eyes of the gang, They're orbs of vampish brown hue; But watch your stuff-she hits with a bang, She's a vamp, but a man-hater too. The last two in names, they have the same, And the first is 'Corporal Gin'; You know her indeed, for she shares Russell's fame, That's bad, but still its no sin. And last, but not least, (ini size you can bet),. 'Private Gin'-not the kind in the cellar; She's mean, shd's funny, she's ponder ously set, She's fat, but I don't dare to tell her. They're a fine little bunch' from bottom to top, And I truthfully like everyone; I've written enough, and I soon must stop, What I've written, I've written in fun. May 'Mother Mid' change from hei frowning ways, And no more vent scorn on their tricks, I'll hang my clothes on this line anc say, Here's a health to the 'Roughneck-Six.' -USC Ey I. M. P.
