Morning, Noop, and Night While at Blue Ridge this summer, the Uniersity of South Carolina delegation received an honor that is not to be ignor ed or despised, but one that should make any one point to us with pride. It happened in this manner: Up there where the cool inottitain atmosphere makes (lie get lp) quickly an(l have him self ready for the moriiiig meal, and then, an hour afterwards, start couit ing the minutes until dinner, oile naturally thinks of three words, break fast, dinoer, and supper. Frank Meeks was heard to remark one time, "Fellows, there are three things on this pro)grani that I am iiever going to miss, and those three thiigs are the three periods when we assemble in the mess hall to eat." Sad to say however, Mr. Meeks got caught (.'n High Top one afaternoonl ill a shower, and came so near missing tihat he inariy had heart failutre for fear that lie would lose his reputation. GE LEE HALL Iia to go on() with the story, tile wait resses always looked over at the tabie where we sat, and would shake their heads and smile sympathetically at the yomg lady that answered our many calls for "seconds" anid "thirds." One day we happened to be talking to one of the youig ladies, so we asked her if at-y of our waitresses' relatives had died.. She said that that was not tile reasoli at all, bit that she could not tell und-,r any conditions. There upon, ir. Wil son] proceeded to coax tile youig lady re ferred to, and at last she said that the reaso.n that they were sorry for tile girl was becaise we were the biggest caters i) there, and that the yoting lady had beei worked very hard. We then pass ed a resolution that no one, uider any circtmstances, should eat over ten rolls and four helpings of any one dish at any lle meal. This was very hard for some of is, especially Sparkman and Hankins, but we mnanaged to keep them from vio iating this agreement 1)y reminding them that we wouild be forced to report them to tile HI-onor Committee if they did not desist.
