So clearly it is up to the stu dent~body. The band staff has gone its limit, it can do no mote. If every student whS has pledged -money will- make his 'pledge good ; if every stu dent and every member of the faculty who has not contributed will -do so;. and if those who have alreadyt given will give just a little bit more, the band will be saved. Let no man give less than $3.00 to the. fund. There isn't a'. person on the campus who cannot afford that much. ' But remember, that'the band stands or falls on what is done by the student body in the next 15 days. FJ.EET RUNNERS WITHOUT MESSAGE A few evenings ago, E. ]. Schneider and Freshman Wingo calletl on . co-ed and her sister, who live about a mile and a h$lf outside'6f the city-limits. Shoit ly after arriving, the girl with whom Sebneider had the date, turned her innocent, smiling eyes upon him, and, expressing all manner of love, soon had hij vamped- and reddy foi- anythifg that might come. Wingo, who is known among the co-eds as a heart crusheir, found it rather difficult to 99 tertMin a restless, bashful, cotiep tiy girl. So, in the early houys of the evening, finiding hims19 hopeless, and disgusted with 14sp suegess, decided to leave. After the rough reconstruction, a-pathetic plea for a ride to town was granted by the autoists and the unfortunate ones were final ly landed safely back on the cam pus. The Resulta of Geometry.
