ENGINEERING SOCIETY J. N. Arthur, Editor There will be a regular meet ing of the Engineering Society next Tuesday night. The So ciety will discuss the feasibility of having a banquet sometime soon. The engineering students have begun "breaking the ground" for the fence around the athletic field. The post-holes are mark ed and it is time for the fresh men to be about their business with the post-hole diggers. The fence will be completed for the opening of the season. POLKA DOT CLUB WILL NOT GIVE PLAY Director Garing Will Leave Soon for Exposition. The play which the Polka Dot Club was to present this year will not be given. Examinations broke into the practice for three weeks, and since Mr. Garing, the direc tor, will leave soon to play with Sousa's Band at the Panama Ex position, time does not permit him to stage the play. It is a matter of much regret that the play cannot be given, for it is a great thing for the University. Too, the students hoped that a precedent had been established which would never be broken. It will be hard in the future to get another play staged because of this fact. SHIBBOLETH CLUB ENJOYS BANQUET Master Masons of University Feasted Wednesday.
