CLARK-HARBISON ROOM GIVE CAROLINA BENEFIT Wednesday's Proceeds from Pool Room to Athletics. Carolina Men Will Lend all Aid in in Making the Sum Large. Through the kindness of the pro prietors the Clark-I-Iarbison pool room will have a Carolina benefit day Whhednesday next, when all the pro heeds from the tables above actual expenses will be turned over to the Athletic Association. It is the natural thing that Carolina men will throw all the business possible to the old heads' joint Wednesday, for it is all coming back, and at the same t ime shows proper appreciation of the in terest of M r. Clark and Mr. Harbi son in the Carolina team. UNIVERSITY GLEE CLUB SINGS MONDAY NIGHT First Concert Will be Given in Chapel, Beginning at 8:30 O'clock. Pullen, a member of the Senior class of the Columbia Theo logical Seminary, addressed the Y. M. C. A. at its regular meeting Wed nesday evening. After the lecture on "Macbeth" by Professor G. Lyman Kittredge, of Harvard, an informal reception was given in his honor by Prof. Reed Smith with the aid of the Scribes, a literary organization, on the campus. Dr. Kittredge is a de lightful conversationalist and the talk never lagged. He is neither stiff nor pedantic as are many great scholars, but seemed perfectly at ease and well informed no matter what topic was under discussion. Refresh ments were served during the even ii g.
