The C. query was: Resolved, "That the ci pledge against hazing will work for Vi the ultinate good of the University." Both sides were well prepared and showed great interest in the question. Let this always be the case. When c you are assigned to debate, don't shirk V. your duty, but prepare yourself and :j come tip and put some life into the debate. At the last meeting of the Society the attendance was larger, much larger than usual. Doubtless this was caused by that particular night being election night, and doubtless the attendance will not be as good again until next election night. At every meeting of the Society a large percentage of the men who are on duty cut the exercises for no rea son whatever. Men, this should not be so. It is your duty to give your hardest work to your Society. If you are on duty don't shirk, but come and do the best you can. If you are not on duty come anyway, for it is to your own good as well as to the good of the Society that you be punctual. The following officers were elected on last Saturday night: President, J. 0.
