The deceased served his country in three wars, to wit, the 1 Florida or Seminole, the Mexican and [ the Confederate. , At the time of his death be was, and . had been for a number of years, draw' iog a pension from the- Federal Gov1 ernment as a Mexican soldier; bis test payment was issued on May 4lb.
