Martin, formerly of Fairfield county, died of consumption, on the 29th ult., at the residence of Mr. Thos. G. Brown, of ti>is place. He was in the twenty-ninth year at' his age, and unmarried. He was a member of the Methodist church, and his character was unexceptionable, and by his friendly and unassuming manner he had won many friends, who join with his relatives in grieving at his depart ure.
