With a caste of unusual excellence which played each part of a cap tivating story from start to finish so well that not a dull moment was spent during the entire perform ance, on Wednesday evening "Mr. Bob," the play given by the Enter tainment Committee of the Civic League was enjoyed by a wel-filled house. The door receipts were about $85.00, and the proceeds are for the enefit of the Better Winnsboro Club. Prior to the raising of the curtain Rev. G. G. Mayes gave a short talk about the origin of moving pictures, ad mentioned the official war pic ures soon to be shown at the Com unity Theatre. Between the acts music was fur nished by Mesdames Wolling and ood, Dr. Quattlebaum and Mr. ates. In the living room numerous games were played, fortunes told and jokes tried On the guests, while the hail and porches were thrown open to the dancing crowd.
