Several of James little playmates were with him at tho time and saw him get killed. Deuth -was instan taneous and the little fellow's body was badly burned. It seems that Troy James and sev eral of his1 playmates wore down at the underpass playing on the trestle and that there was some argument as to who could touch the trolley wire, which passes a few feet beneath the trestle, by swinging off the steel worik with their hands and using their, feot to touph the ?vire. It ls said that some of the little fellows tried it but were unable to reach the trolley. Finally James tried it, and ?no sooner did hlsr bare feet comb in {'^contact with the heavily Charged wlrevthan bo was killed. There were a number of people down in the park at the time, and al though they were unable to seo tho boys dangerous playing, they saw the smoke which arose when James body was being burned. The, tra gedy cast a gloom over Wllllamsfon on Sunday. v The funeral services were held yes terday afternoon and interment was made in the . Wllllamston cemetery.
