Two British Warships Sunk in the Dardanelles. The British battleships Triumph and Majestic were victims of Orman submarines in the Darda nelles this week. The Triumph, a battleship of 11, SOU tons, lunched in 1903, was sunk Wednesday, and the Majestic, of 14,900 tons, built iu I8U5, wau sunk Thursday. Tlie Triumph, which cost a little less than liv?' million dollars, was a battleship of the second class, nhe carried four ten inch guns, fourteen seven and .mt' half nick guim and a number of smaller guns for attack on submarines und torpedo boats. Her armor was made iu Germany by the Krupps. Her speed averaged about eighteen knots. The Majestic, the larger though older vessel car ried four twelve Inch guns and twelve six Inch guns with a number of smaller weapons. She cost five million doilara. She. like the Triumph, was a sec ond class Hhip and was three bundred and ninety feet long. The Triumph was four hundred and thirteen feel long.
