The Lancaster Ledger.
ON tlic fir?t of January next, this paper will be enlarged
and greatly improved. The Editor is happy to announce
to his readers that he ha* made such arrangements
as will enable him to give weekly, a news letter from
Charleston, the metropolis- of the .State, Washington City
and New lork. The^e letters will be written hv men of
experience and information, and all matters of general in
terest will be faithfully chronicled.
The arrangement* require a considerable outlay, hut the
evidence we have received the first year, encourages us
to march onward and give our readers a weekly paj?er inferior
to none in the Southern Country.
We cannot reduce our price from two dollars but any
person Betiding us six new subscribers and twelve dollars,
w ill receive the Ledger one year gratis.
