our teachers, who were in Laurens in j

from Laurens and told uo all the good news
of what happened at the Contention.
When it was announced that
our Pastor, Dr. J. C. White, had been j
elected President of that-great body-there
\vas much rejoicing in Zion.
11:30 o'clock our church was packed
with eager auditors. In the absence

School Convention in Laurens preach

Columbia and fill the day for him
at Zion and Zion Pilgrim at Arthur*
town. Dr. Dixon preached a great
sermon and at 3:00 p, ni., Deacon Willie
Lyles motored him^jlown to Arthurtown,
where he preached^ to a
crowded house.

day Sunday night at Zion to a vast
