THING TOO MUCH "CUSSIN".
"I never heard so much profanity
in all of my life," said one young soldier,
a boy who had been well reared
had a college education, has traveled
extensively and was a bank tellei
when drafted. "I expected to heai
some profanity, but there i3 entirely
too much cussin' in camp, and I think
the president of the United State*
ought to take some note of it and stoj
it. It is a nuisance and an annoyanc<
to those of us who try to conduct our
selves differently." He added that th<
officers do not "cuss at" the soldiers
for that is against the army regula
tions, but there is just a lot of "gen
eral all-around cussin."?Columbu
