Bridge Tables
Mrs. McHardy Mower entertained her j
bridge club Friday afternoon. High
score prize was awarded Mrs. C. C. I
Hutto. Mrs. A. F. Montague won the
second high score award and bingo'
prize went to Mrs. T. L. Hicks.
Refreshments were served after
cards.
was held Tuesday afternoon at the
home of Mrs. Walter H. Hunt. In
vited to play rook with the club mem
bers were Miss Fannie Mae Carwile,
Mrs. A. M. Summer, Mrs. Wilton
Todd, and Mrs. W. H. Tedford.
Quantities of holiday and Christ
mas flowers decorated the room where
three tables were placed.
After cards, Mrs. Hunt served a
sweet course which was followed by
coffee and cheese biscuits.
Two tables were set for club mem
bers when Mr. and Mrs. George Mar
tin entertained the bridge club of
which they ae members Friday even
ing. A Christmas motif was used for
the party.
Mrs. G. K. Dominick and T. E Setz-
ler were awarded the high score
prizes when scores were totaled. Mrs.
C. E. Hendrix was lucky at bingo.
A sweet course was served after
cards.
TO CHARLESTON
Mrs. John Clarkson and little
daughter have left for Charleston to
spend the Christmas holidays with
Mrs. Clarkson’s parents the H. W.
Hopkes.
The Recovery Club met Friday ev
ening at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
J. P. Moon on Pelham street.
Before cards, a delicious supper was
served. Mrs. J. L. Welling and
Charles Trabert held high score at
bridge and were awarded prizes. Mrs.
L. G. Eskridge and J. L. Welling won
the bingo awards.
Saturday afternoon Mrs. A. M.
Summer entertained the bridge club
of which she is a member at her home
m Summer street. The home was
beautifully decorated in holly, mis
tletoe, and red candles. Tallies and
prizes also carried out the Christmas
motif.
Two tables were placed for the
members. Mrs. C. H. Albrecht was
high score winner and Mrs. E. E.
Stuck won second high. Consolation
award went to Mrs. Jesse Mayes.
A salad course, bearing the red and
green seasonal colors, was servd late
in the afternoon.
JEWELRY—
The Perfect Gift
Mrs. Maxine Jones was hostess to
her bridge club Wednesday afternoon
at her home on Summer street. Two
tables were placed for club members
in a setting of Christmas decorations.
Prizes were awarded after cards
and delicious refreshments served.
Miss Frances Jones and Johnnie
Kinard are entertaining the bridge
club of which they are iriembers to
night (Thursday).

1934 Master Chevrolet Coach. This car has been repainted and
it must move. We have been holding it for $385.00, but the price

One 1934 Ford Coupe just been painted and looks good; has
good tires on it. We have had it too long and we are today re
ducing this good buy to only $250.00
One 1933 Ford Coach. Tld* car has just been overhauled in our
shop and we are going to mote it for only $275.00
One 1935 Terraplane Pick Up. Think of buying this late truck
for the price we are asking. It is in good condition. We are
going to sell it for only $295.00
We have two good Panel Trucks that we have had for some
time. We are this day reducing these two panel trucks $100.00
each, and are going to sell each one of them for $175.00
